- Three modes- Arcade, Survival, and boss.
- Three difficulties- Normal, Hard and retro.
- Online leaderboards with filters.
- Three routes in the arcade and you start at 1a, 1b or 1c.
- Medals-Five in each level and awarded for set feats.
- Shooter gameplay.
- Chiptune soundtrack.
- A multiplier for racking up therm scores.
- Formations- Enemies can attack in formations and clearing them all out grants a bonus.
- End of level guardian fights.
- You play flying over a level by going left and right, You can flip your ship to change direction.
- Addictive.
- Solid score chaser.
- Levels are well designed despite looking simple.
- Absolutely nails the modern retro name.
- Difficult.
- Powerups to collect in-game.
- Decent pixel graphics.
- So much replayability as you learn level layouts and rack up scores.
Cons:
- The tutorial is text-based.
- Never sure what powerup you get.
- Difficult.
- Takes time to realis what you can shoot and what is obstacles.
- Controls take some time to climatize too as they are both sensitive and laid out and work differently to how you think.
- Only one layout for the controller.
- Feels a bit light on content and variety.
