The Games Collector is pleased to announce the launch of their Indiegogo campaign to raise funds for a very special limited edition hardback of Ian Livingstone’s classic Fighting Fantasy gamebook, ‘City of Thieves’.

What is Fighting Fantasy?

Created by Ian Livingstone & Steve Jackson, Fighting Fantasy are part book, part game. Armed only with the book, a pencil and paper and some dice, YOU choose which path to follow, what items to take, who you meet and who you battle!

The Fighting Fantasy range of adventure gamebooks debuted in 1982 and sold over 18 million copies worldwide. What started with ‘The Warlock of Firetop Mountain’ spawned over 60 adventures. As we approach the 35th anniversary, their legacy is as strong today as it’s ever been.

What is The Games Collector’s Edition?

The ‘City of Thieves’ is one of the most popular Fighting Fantasy titles ever published. Written by Ian Livingstone and originally published in paperback in 1983, YOU can now experience Port Blacksand, the eponymous City of Thieves as never before.

This large limited hardback edition merges a book, a Fighting Fantasy experience and the flavour of a board game into one full colour package, featuring brand new illustrations. Decide your next action as you open boxes and lift flaps to uncover jewels, gold and other items needed to defeat the Night Prince, Zanbar Bone.

Available in English and Portuguese, this limited edition hardback book is bound and printed to the highest quality in the UK and designed and illustrated by an exciting new Brazilian talent, Daielyn Cris Bertelli.

To give genuine fans the best opportunity to buy this unique book, it will only be available via the Indiegogo campaign. YOU won’t find it for sale anywhere else.
